Where the idea came from

I spent months benchmarking WooCommerce stores that were losing sales without knowing it. In nearly every case, the culprit was the same: a shared hosting plan that had quietly become the bottleneck — 2, 3, 4+ seconds before the first byte even arrived.

Store owners were paying real money for traffic, then losing it to latency they never saw. No dashboard shows you the order you didn't get at 3.4 seconds.

So I built the tool I wished existed: one that measures your server response time live, then converts milliseconds into monthly dollars lost.

Why you can trust the numbers

• Every TTFB reading is taken live against your actual server — not estimated, not guessed.
• Loss calculations use published conversion research (Google, Akamai, Deloitte), applied conservatively.
• The full testing method is public and reproducible — same probes, same regions you can run yourself: read the methodology.
• Renewal-price claims are backed by raw price data, not marketing pages: see the data.

Don't take my word for it — check it yourself

Verifying a TTFB claim takes under two minutes:

• Open WebPageTest → enter a domain → choose a Chrome (First View) test from Dulles (US-East).
• Run the same test on 2–3 of the hosts compared here.
• Compare the "Time to First Byte" rows. The ordering should match what this site reports.

What FutureStack is not

FutureStack is not a hosting company, and the tools don't sell a brand. If a host genuinely fits your store, the comparison will say so on the merits of the measurement — not on who pays a commission.
