Simple Privacy — Because We Collect Almost Nothing

FutureStack's audit tools run a live measurement every scan. The short version: one disclosed aggregate analytics tracker, no advertising, no profiles, and no database of your site's data. This page is the complete, plain-English record of what happens to your data.

The Short Version

No advertising, no cross-site profiles. No ad networks, no remarketing, no selling or renting data, no linking your visit to your identity.
One analytics tracker, fully disclosed. We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) for aggregate audience stats — pageviews, rough geography, and whether people use the audit tool's steps. That's the only tracker on the site, and this page says so. Follow the exact details below.
Scans measure live, then calculate. The TTFB measurement runs on our server (a Netlify function probes the URL you entered from a US edge — the same technique PageSpeed Insights uses) and the revenue calculation executes with that measured TTFB. The scanner does not copy your site's content or products anywhere; we only read the public URL's response timing.
Your email is used for one thing: sending you the report you asked for, and if you later opt in, nothing else.

Why This Is Real, Not Marketing

We have nothing to sell but your trust. Every figure on this site is reproducible, every relationship is disclosed, and we name every script we load. The scanner measures the URL you enter and stores nothing about your visit unless you ask for a report by email; the analytics are aggregate; the emails are single-purpose. If you find a script that does more than this policy describes, email Adam and he will remove it and re-verify with you on camera.

What We Collect

If you use the audit tools without entering an email: nothing is stored. The only data that touches our network is the request to load the page itself (your IP address, which is standard for any website) and the URL you entered, which our server probes to measure its response time (cached briefly per site so repeat scans are fast, like PageSpeed Insights).

If you request a report by email: we store the email address you entered, plus the technical fields needed to build and send the report (the tested URL, your TTFB result, and the calculated figures). This is stored to send the report and to maintain basic delivery records.

We do not collect your name, location, browsing history, or payment information. There is nothing to pay for.

How Your Email Is Used

To send the report you requested (one email, with the PDF attached).
To respond if you reply.
Nothing else. No newsletters, no partners, no rented lists, no cross-referencing.

If we ever offer an optional follow-up or update summary, we will ask for explicit opt-in separately. Opting out is one click — every report email includes a "unsubscribe" path, and replying with "stop" also works. When you unsubscribe, we delete your stored details on request.

The One Tracker We Use

This is the full, complete list of third-party scripts on the site: Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-TBJD5DPX, property G-XFWBWF76CS). Nothing else calls out to any network.

What it sends: page views, interaction events (e.g. "audit run", "report requested"), approximate geographic region, device/browser type, referrer, and time on page — in aggregate.
Cookies: GA4 may set its own first-party cookies (_ga, _gid) holding an anonymous client ID used for session continuity. We set no cookies of our own.
What we do NOT do: no ad personalization, no Google Signals / cross-device profiling, no enhanced conversions, no data sharing for ads, no exporting your reports. IP is used only for coarse geographic aggregation.
Retention & control: GA data uses a 14-month default retention. You can exclude yourself by blocking first-party cookies, or use a GA opt-out extension, or simply email Adam and he'll tell you (or show you on a call) exactly what your visit recorded.

Why keep it at all? Because we won't pretend to have conversion numbers we don't have. This site's claims are testable, and running free analytics is the only way to confirm — honestly — whether the tools actually help or whether we need to fix them. You can inspect every script yourself: open DevTools → Network while loading any page and you will see nothing contacting anything except our host (Netlify), our functions, and Google Analytics. That list is the entire story.

Standard Technical Details

Like every website, our host (Netlify) records standard request logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period as part of normal hosting operations and are not used for any marketing purpose. Static assets are served over HTTPS from a CDN.

Your Rights

Depending on your region (including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to request a copy. Because we hold so little, this is usually a five-minute job. Email adam@futurestk.online with the subject "Privacy request" and we will action it within 14 days.
