FutureStack is a revenue intelligence platform, not a hosting review site. Our purpose is to quantify the financial relationship between hosting infrastructure decisions and measurable business outcomes — conversion rates, acquisition efficiency, and long-term cost structure.
We maintain performance-based partnership agreements with hosting providers. When you use links from our platform to sign up with a provider, we may earn a commission. This is standard practice for infrastructure advisory platforms and is disclosed transparently.
Core Principle
Partnership agreements do not influence our performance testing, risk scoring, or tier categorization. All providers are tested using identical infrastructure, methodology, and measurement tools. Rankings are derived from measured performance data, not commercial relationships.

If your metrics align with the Excellent tier's performance requirements, the system recommends providers that meet them — regardless of partnership status. InterServer appears frequently in recommendations because it consistently tests as the fastest shared hosting option in our independent benchmarks (162ms verified average across three runs, sub-200ms across repeated testing), not because of any preferential treatment.

Our modeling applies a single disclosed coefficient: a 0.04 (4%) relative
conversion drop per second of TTFB above the 200ms baseline — equal to 0.4% per
100ms, capped at 40% total. This sits at the conservative floor of the
published range (Portent and Deloitte report 3–10% per second depending on vertical),
and is the exact value used in our production code (financial-engine.js),
documented on our methodology page.
Deloitte's 8.4%-per-100ms figure applies to specific retail environments and is not
used in our estimates.
All projections are labeled as directional financial modeling and explicitly noted as subject to variation based on business model, audience, implementation quality, and market conditions. We do not guarantee revenue outcomes.

Providers without partnership agreements (Bluehost, HostGator, GoDaddy, SiteGround) remain in our benchmark testing and appear in comparative data because accurate market representation requires including the full competitive landscape.
Why This Model Works
Performance-based partnerships align our incentives with accurate recommendations. We earn when users find value in our analysis and choose to act on it. Promoting poor-performing infrastructure would damage both user trust and long-term partnership viability. The model only functions if recommendations are genuinely performance-driven.
